ACCA Eligibility After the 12th

Educational: You should have done your 12th year of commerce school from an accredited board or institution to enroll in the ACA course. You should also have received at least a 65% in accounting and mathematics.

English Proficiency: Because the ACCA course is taught in English, you must be fluent in the language. If you do not speak English as your first language, you must demonstrate your ability to do so by receiving at least 6.5 bands in the IELTS exam. 

ACCA Course after 12th

You can begin the ACCA course after completing your 12th grade in commerce if you complete the eligibility requirements. There are two levels in the ACCA course: Fundamentals and Professional.

Level of Fundamentals: The ACCA course’s Level of Fundamentals has nine papers that are separated into two modules: knowledge and skills. The three papers in the Knowledge module are Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Accountant in Business. Corporate and Business Law, Performance Management, Taxation, Financial Reporting, Audit and Assurance, and Financial Management are the six papers that make up the Skills module. The Fundamentals level lasts for about twelve to eighteen months.

Professional Level: There are five papers in the Professional Level of the ACCA course, which are separated into Essentials and Options modules. Three papers—Governance, Risk and Ethics, Corporate Reporting, and Business Analysis—make up the Essentials curriculum. You can select one of the two papers in the Options section according to your desired career path. The professional level lasts for about twelve to eighteen months.

ACCA Course Costs and Duration

Depending on where and how you study, the ACA course has different costs and lengths. Three study methods are available for completing the ACA course: live online learning, on-demand computer exams, and classroom training.

Classroom-based Learning: This is the conventional approach to education, which entails going to lectures in a real classroom. Through classroom-based instruction, the ACA course lasts three to four years and the cost ranges from PKR 2,00,000 to 4,00,000. 

Live Online Learning: This adaptable form of learning allows you to watch lectures in real-time from any location with an internet connection. The live online ACA course lasts for around two to three years, and the cost varies from PKR 1,50,000 to PKR 3,00,000.

On-demand Computer-Based Exams: Exams that can be taken at your convenience. With on-demand computer-based exams, the course lasts two to three years, and the cost varies from PKR 1,00,000 to PKR 2,50,000.
